Colmore Row planning submitted

The project to refurbish and extend the 1917 building at 78-90 Colmore Row in Birmingham’s Colmore & Environs Conservation Area has been submitted for planning approval by V7, development manager for Marlborough Property Company. The proposal is to create high-quality, low carbon office space as part of Birmingham City Council’s Snow Hill Masterplan.
Structural integrity and respecting the historical character are the priorities. Key updates will include the addition of a fifth-floor extension, a new roof terrace, improved accessibility and a ground-floor business lounge. The focus is on reducing embodied carbon and incorporating renewable energy systems, smart building technologies and environmentally responsible materials.
