Daedalus Waterfront wins planning award

The Daedalus Waterfront masterplan has been recognised in the 2024 Planning Awards as winner in the mixed-use development category.
Daedalus Waterfront is a joint venture between Patron Capital, MurrayTwohig Developments and Orwell Real Estate — appointed by Homes England as development partners for the 18 hectare former seaplane base HMS Daedalus. The project will provide 346 new homes and includes 76 conserved heritage buildings, of which several are Grade II listed.
Whitby Wood is providing inter-disciplinary engineering expertise for the joint venture, delivering structural, civil, geotechnical and heritage services.
