Taking on an oarsome challenge!

July 2024
Whitby Wood took on the epic Oarsome Challenge this month, rowing 16 miles along London’s annual Boat Race course, on the River Thames from Chiswick to Greenwich.

We paired up with our good friends at architect Buckley Gray Yeoman, alongside teams from across the built environment industry to raise nearly £30,000 in support of London Youth Rowing — a youth charity that uses rowing to motivate, inspire and empower young people from the least advantaged communities in London, Leeds, Nottingham, Kent and Bristol.

The funds raised will support the work of London Youth Rowing’s Active Row programme to get young people active, boost physical and mental wellbeing, while also helping them develop crucial life skills. You can learn more about their work at londonyouthrowing.com

An epic challenge for a great cause … Thank you for a fantastic — if gruelling — day … Art-Invest Real Estate, Dockside Canada Water and London Youth Rowing.
